On January 15, 2017, 70 Nations will come against Israel in Paris. This is the 17th of Tevet, 5777 which is also the anniversary of the oldest Jewish Congregation in the United States founded ( 17 Tevet (1728). As you know, Shearith Israel is the first New York synagogue that erected its first building in Lower Manhattan. Also referred to as the "Congregation Remnant of Israel."
